PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE

Having spent almost five years working with senior judges of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic and Council of Europe, Jana gained the initial professional experience in various areas of European civil & commercial law.

Jana relocated to Dubai to accept another exciting challenge in her professional career, and she had the privilege to work both for leading regional law firms and for prominent corporate service providers. She is specialized in company formation (onshore, offshore, free zone, DIFC Special Purpose Company (SPC), and Abu Dhabi Global Market structures), corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Aside from that, Jana holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in law and occasionally provides university lectures in various areas of UAE and international law. She is also experienced in teaching and public speaking, academic writing, publishing articles and papers.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

In her free time, Jana enjoys all forms of hiking and trekking in the nature. As a true travel enthusiastic, she takes every opportunity to travel abroad and explore different countries and cultures. If not traveling, she appreciates great food and trying new restaurants with her husband.
