HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS

This role description summaries the purpose of the job and lists the key tasks. It is not a definite list of all the tasks to be undertaken as these can be varied from time to time at the discretion of Creation Business Consultants (CBC) Management.

 

ROLE OBJECTIVE

Responsible for the business development and delivery of a stated sales strategy. Key tactical input to planning and delivery of sales targets. Development of a key referrer network that supports the company’s growth objectives and drives revenue. Development of cross-functional collaboration (UAE and KSA) across teams in the business, to contribute to the company’s strategic objectives. Contribute to the leadership of the Business Development Team.

This senior level role reports directly to the Director for Strategy and Commercial.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The main duties, responsibilities, and outputs of the role:

Key Accountabilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets
  • Identify and maintain key strategic partnerships and stakeholders to achieve the annual budgets for UAE & KSA markets
  • Identify new revenue streams (both service lines and geographic markets) to boost company value
  • Prepare monthly target report for the Director of Strategy & Commercial
  • Contribute to annual business development and sales plans
  • Act as the Lead for large opportunities, from initiation to closure
  • Create development plans for large client accounts
  • As a member of the leadership team, contribute to decision making and implementation of best practice across the company

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop cross-functional collaboration with teams in UAE and KSA such as Operations, Marketing, Sales and Finance to effectively contribute to the company’s strategic objectives in terms of sales, profit and growth targets
  • Develop business by building new business pipelines, as well as upselling and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Formulate accurate solutions for clients
  • Develop and maintain the reputation of the company
  • Enhance relationships with clients and referral partners
  • Assist in devising and implementing public relations plans that grow the public profile of the company
  • Ensure CRM is up to date on a daily basis
  • Anticipate, identify and exploit legal/tax developments and changes in market conditions
  • Utilise effective relationships to maximize opportunities for cross referrals

 

Key Outputs

  • Successfully achieve business development targets
  • Build and nurture a network of referral partners and C-Suite contacts across multiple sectors and markets

 

Key Communications

  • Liaise with potential clients, key stakeholders, and other staff to ensure the sales, support and services are of the highest caliber
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with the Director Strategy & Commercial and other executive level staff

Experience and Education

  • Degree qualified
  • 5-10 years of experience working in corporate services within the GCC
  • Experience in meeting set targets
